Facultative air-breathing (Ref. 126274); Inhabits shallow reef crests, usually exposed to moderate surge (Ref. 48635). Common among the branches of pocilloporid corals (e.g. Pocillopora eydouxi, Stylophora mordax) and some species of Acropora.
