Raggi dorsali molli (totale): 19; Raggi anali molli: 10. This species is distinguished by the following characters: body slender, elongated, unpigmented; body depth at pectoral fin base 3.6-3.7% of SL and at anal fin origin 3.9-4.8 % of SL; dorsal fin exceeding anal fin origin distinctly; predorsal length 61.8-65.2 % of SL, while preanal length 71.7-75.8 % of SL; D 19-20, A 10 with first anal-fin ray positioned below 9th dorsal-fin ray; upper and the lower jaws with few large teeth, 7 on the premaxilla, 6 on the dentary; pectoral radial plate long, its length 3.7-4.5 % of SL; number of myomeres 42 (30 + 11); first dorsal fin ray at myomere 20-21 (Ref. 124128)
