Short description
Morfología | Morfometría
Espinas dorsales (total): 9; Radios blandos dorsales (total): 11; Espinas anales 3; Radios blandos anales: 12; Vértebra: 25. This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following characters: body elongate with greatest body depth 28% SL; D IX,11; A III,12; pectoral-fin rays 13; tubed lateral line scales 28. Colourations: interspinous membrane between anterior two to three spines of dorsal fin with a black spot; males with head yellow green and extensively reticulate; abdominal region behind pectoral and pelvic fins orangey pink, scales edged in lavender forming a honeycomb pattern; breast and posterior body are inky black (Ref. 123182).
Found along a rubble terrace adjacent to a drop off at 25 m (Ref. 123182).
