Body with 12-15 dark bars, regularly shaped and set; complete black bar at caudal base reaching dorsal and ventral midlines; complete lateral line; processus dentiformis slender; axillary pelvic lobe not reduced; pelvic fin situated vertical to first branched dorsal-fin ray; body elongated and head depressed; small median incision in upper lip (Ref. 40772).
在身體上的 12-15條深色的橫帶, 經常形狀與組; 完全的黑色橫帶在尾部的基底達到背部與腹的中線; 側線完整; 活動 dentiformis 細長的; 不被縮小的腋窩的腹鰭葉; 位於的腹鰭垂直的對第一個分枝的背鰭鰭條; 延長的身體與頭部扁平的; 在上嘴唇中的小中央的切口。
Found in a stream with fast running water. Associated with Poropuntius deauratus (Cyprinidae), Pterocryptis cochinchinensis (Siluridae), and Schistura spiloptera. Apparently very rare.
