Description synthétique
Morphologie | Morphométrie
Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 4; Rayons mous anaux: 45 - 56; Vertèbres: 46 - 50. Forked caudal fin with the upper lobe 1.4-1.6 times longer than the lower lobe; less convex snout when viewed laterally.
Found in blackwater habitats associated with peat swamps. Feeds mainly on terrestrial insects and aquatic arthropods.
