Morfologia | Morfometria
Spine dorsali (totale): 1; Raggi dorsali molli (totale): 6; Raggi anali molli: 16 - 18. Body extremely elongate, predorsal distance 26-28% of SL; and dorsal spine thin, weakly ossified and prolonged well beyond tip of first ray as long flexible filament (Ref. 56896).
Appears restricted to the deep, rather swift channels of very large whitewater rivers (Ref. 56896).
