The specimen figured by Sato (1991), identified as A. cookii Macleay, appears to be A. taeniophorus. We did not see A. cookii in the Ogasawara Islands. A. robustus (Smith and Radcliffe) is a junior synonym of A. cookii. BPBM 35092, 22 mm SL; BPBM 35125, 2:75&87 mm SL; BPBM 35297, 73 mm SL (Ref. 26066). Also Ref. 33390, 90102. |
