Known from Niger and Benue river drainages, coastal river drainages in southern Nigeria (on basement soil), and the Cross river drainage in southeast Nigeria. Lafia, Nsukka, Udi (Ref. 31267). Recorded from Akamkpa, Akure, Jos Plateau, Makurdi, Misage, Obudu, Osira, Rayfield, Ugep (Ref. 31267). Also Ref. 31256.
