Reported in Randall, 1995 (Ref. 11441) as T. whiteheadi (however, the colored photo was of a Saudi Arabian specimen) and was reported as T. mystax, but as a misidentification of T. whiteheadi (however, the diagnosis was closely matched to T. mystax as described in Ref. 189). Consequently, it is not considered to be in Oman and currently not found outside the Persian Gulf (Ref. 123974).
