Found in Mbam river system, upper Sanaga system and upper Mambere system in central Cameroon (Ref. 3788). Also reported from the Benue River (Ref. 51193) and the Kadei (Sangha system, Congo River basin), but the latter is not confirmed by Wildekamp 1993 (Ref. 47461). Also Ref. 27139, 27690.
