Recorded in Tañon Strait (Ref. 107276). Known from Puerto Princesa, Palawan (Ref. 58652), Malalag Bay and Sarangani Bay (Ref. 106380). Reported from Cavite as Callyodon elerae (Ref. 1584) and from Zamboanga as C. latifasciatus (Ref. 1620), both are synonyms of this species. Also Ref. 3488, 121724.
