Espinas dorsales (total): 10; Radios blandos dorsales (total): 13-14; Espinas anales 3; Radios blandos anales: 7; Vértebra: 26. This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following characters: relatively long pectoral fins (28.9-35.3% SL); lateral-line scales 33-41; relatively long anal rays with longest ray 23.8-52.2% SL (Ref. 127477).
