Spine dorsali (totale): 7; Raggi dorsali molli (totale): 10-11; Spine anali 1; Raggi anali molli: 19. 15 predorsal scales, reaching to above mid eyes. Body red with 4-5 narrow, backward directed light bars, a wide vertical bar in front of first dorsal fin and 3 forward directed bars on head.
