পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ): 7; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ): 8; পায়ূ কাঁটা 2; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 8; কশেরুকা : 24. Fresh samples are translucent lavender, silvery over abdomen; head naked, except opercle with large scales. Anterior nostril in a short membranous tube with a short posterior flap. Longitudinal series, 31 scales. Convex interorbital space.
