Dorsal soft rays (total): 15-16. Body with 2 broad red bars; one below posterior half of spinous portion of dorsal fin and the other below posterior half of soft portion of dorsal fin and adjacent to caudal peduncle. Scales dorsally on head not extending anterior to nostrils.
