Comments: In a separate study in the western Helsinki sea area, pikeperch eggs were laid in artificial spawning nests between May and June 1999. The following conditions: temperature (13-19ÂșC), salinity (4.0-5.9 ppt), and depth (2-3 m) were found to be the most suitable conditions where the majority of the eggs were spawned during the study period (Ref. 91143).
