It is distinguished with a yellow/orange stripe along the lateral midline, extending to the entire length of the caudal fin; D2 I,14-16; A I,14-17; P 18-20. The vomer has no teeth. Body scales are absent except for a few cycloid scales (2-3) at the base of the caudal fin. Absence of intraorbital pore C; paired intraorbital pores D; and eye diamater 7-9% SL (Ref. 128886). |
