Eyes are telescopic, with a diameter of 4.3% of SL, and are directed upwards; ventral fins are at the beginning of the last one third of the body, located noticeably in front of the vertical of dorsal fin origin; anal fin origin is behind the vertical of the end of the dorsal fin insertion; adipose fin is located behind the vertical of the end of the anal fin; vertebrae number 45; peritoneal spots are three; gill rakers number 28 (Ref. 84273).
