Comments: These fish were stocked by the state into a small stream at Bridgeport, Solano County, California, in 1877; however, there were no records of survival (Smith 1896; Shapavalov et al. 1981). Intentionally stocked by the Mexican federal government into two Rio Grande reservoirs in 1975, apparently with the hope of establishing a population that would serve as a source of food for local human residents (Ref. 1982).     Ref:
