Comments: Population in Cumbria (Ratherheath Tarn) was rotenone eradicated in 2005. London (Epping Forest) introduction eradicated by depletion; a few specimens found in R. Cole and Lower Lee by M. Carter, and specimens of L. souffia reported in Thames by Araujo et al. (1999) were probably P. parva (Gordon Copp, pers. comm., Oct. 18, 2006). But establishment not confirmed. FISH Magazine of the Institute of Fisheries Management, Nottingham UK. Found reproducing population in ornamental lake in Chilterns, UK (Ref. 57518). The eradication of the species have resulted in the increased growth and production of native fishes in Lake district of NW UK, alluding to the impact of the species introductions on native fish communities (Ref. 80666). Also Ref. 13686, 57518.     Ref:  Domaniewski, J. and A.C. Wheeler, 1996
