Comments: | Maintained in aquaculture installations only (Ref. 6375). This has been translocated to areas within the country for aquaculture and stocking in open waters however, it failed to establish populations in areas where it has been transplanted to (Ref. 45022). As an aquaculture species, this fish is reared and bred at fish farms in European Russia (Moscow and Krasnodar regions). Its discovery in Lake Velikoe in the Kostroma Oblast has been recorded (Ref. 26334). Ref: HolcĂk, J., 1991 |
