Symptoms: High mucus production leads to coating of skin, affected gills, white areas on dorso-lateral side which thicken to white boil-like appearance dorsal, frayed fins.   
Treatments: Increase waterflow, NaCl bath 7 to 10 g/l water for 30 min to 12 hours, formalin bath 250 ml/l water for 15 min.  
Prophylaxis: Optimal water condition. Avoid overcrowding.
