Symptoms: Red gills with coat of coagulated mucus, gasping air, swimming at surface near inflow.   
Treatments: Malachite green 0.1 mg/l for extended period of time, 0.3 mg/l for 12-hour treatment.  
Prophylaxis: Remove infected fish and disinfect. Avoid algal bloom.
