Symptoms: Ulcer, little red boils on skin, exophthalmus, white eyes, swollen spleen, haemorrhages on peritoneum, greyish knot-like tissue on pale kidney, inflamed intestine, false membrane covering viscera, lethargic.   
Treatments: Unknown.  
Prophylaxis: Raw fish should not be given.   
Remarks: This disease has both chronic and acute forms (Ref. 48984). Clinical outbreaks are not effectively controlled by approved systemic antibacterials (Ref. 48984). Epidemics occur usually when the water temperature is declining (Ref. 48984).
