Symptoms: Exophthalmus, spiral movements, loss of equilibrium, head hung vertically up or down, haemorrhages on at the base of ventral and caudal fins, gills, skin, and viscera, abdomen distended.  
Treatments: Unknown.  
Prophylaxis: All new fish must be quarantined until it is certain that they are free of the parasite prior to distribution.
