Symptoms: | Infected fish exhibits periodical race through the water in a spiral path at a rapid speed, and between intervals of this behavior the fish would sink motionless to the bottom exhausted. After a short recovery stage, it would rise to hang at an angle of 45° immediately at the surface, gasping for air. The infected lost their appetite and does not respond to physical stimuli, also dark coloration can be seen together with fin clamping. The kidney and muscle tissue where the only internal organs affected by the disease. The infected fish died within 24 hour of onset of behavioral signs. | |
