Symptoms: | Eyes opaque that causes blindness, loss of appetite, lethargic swimming behaviour, and skin lesions with bacterial infection can be observe. | |
Treatments: | It is advised that fresh water bath for a few minutes will easily detect the parasite since they turn to be whitish in color in fresh water. Fresh water bath for 5 minutes or bathing in 150 ppm hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes. | |

Remarks: | Capsalids are transparent in color on fish body surface so detection is difficult. | |
