Remarks: Infestation occurs most commonly in the gills. Records are from aquarium and the genus Silurodiscoides has not yet been recorded from Philippine natural waters. This report involves an aquarium fish that is imported from Hongkong and was examined in Quezon City (Lumanlan et al 1992).
