Type locality of Pseudojuloides paradiseus, west of Sagami Bay, east coast of Izu Peninsula, Jogasaki-Kaigan, Izu Oceanic Park. It has a sporadic distribution in Japan: Izu Is. (Izu-Oshima and Miyake Island); Tateyama Bay, east of Sagami Bay; the Izu Oceanic Park, east coast of the Izu Peninsula, Sagami Bay; Osezaki, west of the Izu Peninsula (KPM-NR 22025), Suruga Bay; Kushimoto, Wakayama Prefecture, southern end of the Kii Peninsula; Kashiwa Island, Shikoku; Mishima Island, Yamaguchi Prefecture; Myoken-ura, Amakusa, Kuwamoto Prefecture; Yunomoto, Iki Island, Nagasaki; Okino-shima Island, Munakata, Fukuoka; and Yakataishi, Karatsu, Saga Prefecture (Ref. 123183). |
