Known from Badian, Cebu (Ref. 58652), Lanuza Bay (Ref. 104756), Calatagan, Batangas (Ref. 107852), Nasugbu, Batangas (Ref. 107853), Bongo Island and Paril-Sangay Protected Seascape, Moro Gulf, Davao Gulf and Malalag Bay (Ref. 106380). Museum: Sulu Arch., Siasi Grp., BPBM 14218. One adult (FRLM 12081) and two juveniles (FRLM 11789 - 90) were collected by spoon net from a coral reef in Calauit I. and near El Nido.
