Known from Upper Zambezi River (Ref. 13337, 94654). Introduced in Lake Kariba (Ref. 13337, 52193, 94654, 128638). It has been stocked in many dams throughout the country (Ref. 13337, 46175, 94654) but seems to be doing best on the highveld of Mashonaland (Ref. 13337). Presence in Limpopo River (Ref. 97235) probably based on introduction in Shashi Dam in Botswana (Ref. 6465), but not confirmed in Ref. 94654. |
