Type locality, Augulpelu reef (also known as the Short Drop-off), cave in a steep reef slope, ROM 80353 (holotype of Trimma gigantum, 2.77 cm SL, female). Known only from between 57-73 m on the outer drop-off of Augulpelu Reef in Palau (aka Short-Drop-Off), which lies to the south-east of the island’s capital city of Koror (Ref. 59339).
