Comments

Occurs in Odra and Morava river basins (Ref. 54732). Considered near threatened in 2000 (Ref. 41386). This species is native to various habitats in the flood plains of major rivers and could find supplementary habitats even in extensively managed fishponds. With the considerable number of floodplain habitats having vanished and increased intensity of fishpond management, the occurrence of the species has become limited to several localities only, and the number of its populations are mostly very low (Ref. 52149).

Also Ref. 683, 90060.

Status of threat: Critically Endangered A (1-a,c,e) (Ref. 89840).
