Since 1965 DATRAS reported catches of 56 individuals out of 6,290 hauls in or near the German EEZ of the North Sea (Ref. 88760). Human activities in the German North and Baltic seas that might affect thornback rays: fisheries, eutrophication, sediment removal, offshore installations, constructions of cables and pipelines, channel deepening and technical installations (Ref. 88171). |
