Recorded from Chiemsee (Ref. 13696). Probably extinct but was present in the 1940s. There are indications that a smaller species exists in the Chiemsee, spawning at depths of 12-15 m at about the same time. Coregonus of unknown origin have been stocked in Chiemsee since 1876 (Ref. 59043)
