Ranges from Yukon Territory to Nunavut (Ref. 58426). Occurs on muddy bottoms at depths between 47 and 335, with salinities ranging from 27.6 to 35 ppt, and temperatures from -1.5 to 1.1°C , usually negative. Other studies record it between 42 and 365 m (fry at 9 m), with temperatures below or close to 0°C and salinities not less than 34 ppt. (Ref. 11976). Museum: Arctic Canada, NMC 77-1598 (Ref. 11954).
