Was observed in different locations off Maui I. during 18 months between 2017 aand 2018. Either a stray individual arrived naturally or accidentally introduced as a larvae, or realeased from an aquarium, the latter being more likely as the inhabitual color pattern was observed in the aquarium trade and the public aquarium of Nancy (France) (Ref. 127448).
