Known from the Bailang Subterranean River in Lingyun and Leye counties, Guangxi (Ref. 86777). Found in 2 caves at about 30 m from the entrance at 1.5 m depth (Ref. 44736). Threatened due to environmental degradation and excessive fishing. Considered VU in China’s Species Red List based on Wang and Xie 2004 (Ref. 86777). Also Ref. 12255, 27297, 45620. |
