A Lessepsian migrant to the Mediterranean coast, first recorded before 1943 (Ref. 72453). Common along the eastern Levant coasts. Occassionally large schools are caught by purse seine mainly in the southern part of the Israeli coast. Due to its small size, commercial importance is limited (Ref. 43448). |
