Sighted over reefs within 15 km of Tofo Beach, (23°51’S, 35°32’E), between September and November 2007, at 15 and 25 m depth, ca. 23-28°C. All these sightings were of free-swimming individuals that were generally accompanied by cobia, Rachycentron canadum and in one case a Jenkins’ whipray Himantura jenkinsii (Ref. 75239). |
