Known from the Mekong basin (Ref. 12693). A migratory species occurring from below the Khoné Falls to the Tonle Sap River and the Great Lake (Ref. 37772). Very rare in the Great Lake of the Tonle Sap, where fishing has been prohibited for several years (Ref. 10431), under Cambodian Fisheries Laws (Ref. 37874). Has become quite rare throughout the country (Ref. 12693), but reported to be found all the year in many places of the Mekong basin (Ref. 37770). Known from Mae Khong at Kranchmar, Tonlé Sap, Beng Kebal Damrey (Ref. 36654). Juveniles measuring 2-6 cm are found at Sray Son Thor in Kompong Cham Province and at Muk Kompul in Kandal Province (Ref. 37770). Also Ref. 33813, 43281. |
