Known from the Wami (Ref. 1880, 26644, 41366, 44638) and Ruvu drainages (Ref. 26644, 44638). Ruaha basin specimens (with different coloring) in Ref. 41366 are probably Kneria ruaha (see also Ref. 26644). Type locality of lectotype of Kneria spekii: 'Uzaramo' (Ref. 3022; lectotype designated in Ref. 26644), specified as 'between Usagara and the coast' in Ref. 1878. Type locality of holotype of Kneria taeniata: 'Oukami' (Ref. 89309). |
