Known from the Mekong, Chao Phraya, Maeklong, Salween, Peninsular and Southeast Thailand river systems (Ref. 26336). Occurs in Chiengmai (Chiang Mai); Menam Chao Phaya (Chao Phraya) at Koh Yai; and upper Bangpakong River (Ref. 1632). Collected at Mae Nam Fang, 35 km south of Fang on road to Chiang Mai, Mekong basin, Chiang Mai Province (Ref. 39226).
