Known from the Caspian Sea. Most likely no natural reproduction exists in Iranian waters, but massively stocked from artificial reproduction. Fish from stocking programs have been observed more frequently in northern Caspian (Ref. 59043). Status of threat: Vulnerable independent (Ref. 47532). |
