Type locality, Port Arthur, BMNH 1841.1.14.23 (holotype of Aplodactylus arctidens, 49.8 cm SL) (Ref. 86913). Ranges from the Three Kings Islands to Snares Islands (Ref. 45524). Recorded throughout New Zealand but more common south of Cook Strait. Voucher specimen(s) held at the NMNZ (Ref. 5755). Also Ref. 9002, 88915. |
