Occassionally entering lower reaches of Kunene River (Ref. 52863). Although occasional specimens have been taken in Namibia as far south as Swakopmund, these are unusual in tolerating temperatures of 13.5°-14.5°C in rough, silt-ladden waters (Ref. 2799).
