Type locality of Corydoras froehlichi, Rio Grande do Sul, Esmeralda, rio Pelotas. Known from the upper rio Uruguai basin, from the rivers Canoas, do Peixe and Pelotas. It may be widespread in other tributaries to the rio Pelotas (Ref. 129023). Status of threat: Least Concern. |
