Comments: Occurs in Hisarönü Bay in the Aegean Sea (Ref. 43160). The species found in the Black Sea was Mullus ponticus (Ref. 128561). Collected often from the SW Black Sea shelf (Ref. 115544). Also Ref. 4517, 9987. Status of threat: Near Threatened (Ref. 58342).
