Comments: Occurs around southern New Zealand and abundant on the Campbell Plateau and Pukaki Rise (Ref. 9258). Found at depths between 180 and 800 m but is most abundant at 500 m (Ref. 1371). First record in the Chathams Island (Ref. 45493). Recorded from bottom trawls off the east coast of South Island (Ref. 58461). Voucher specimen(s) held at the NMNZ (Ref. 5755). Also Ref. 1371, 9072, 27363.
