Comments: Type locality, BMNH 1913.12.4.7 (holotype of Notopogon lilliei) (Ref. 75154). Recorded from bottom trawls off the east coast of South Island (Ref. 58461). Voucher specimen(s) held at the NMNZ. Also Ref. 7300.
